Boosting Immunity Amid COVID-19: Essential Tips

What Is The Immune System?

The immune system of our body is a complex network of cells, tissues and organs. They all together help our body to fight against any kind of infections. When any infection tries to invade in our body in the form of bacteria and viruses, the immune system attacks them. When the bacteria or viruses multiply, infection takes place and makes us diseased or sick. Our immune system helps us to protect against such infections by fighting against them.

The immune system of our body includes skin, mucous membranes, white blood cells, organs and tissues of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system includes spleen, thymus, tonsils, lymph nodes and bone marrow. These tissues produce and store the white blood cells.

There are three different types of immunity. Like…

  • Innate Immunity: This type of immunity is since we are born. It is our body’s first line of defence. It includes the skin and the mucous membrane of the organs.
  • Active Immunity: It is also known as ‘Adaptive Immunity’. It develops when we are infected or vaccinated for that particular infection. It is a long-lasting immunity.
  • Passive Immunity: In this type of immunity, we receive the antibodies from any external source rather than our own body preparing it. The newborn babies get the immunity from their mother. It lasts for a few weeks or months only.

What Is COVID-19?

COVID 19 is a disease caused by SARS CoV 2, which is a type of coronavirus which causes the infection in our nose, sinuses and upper respiratory tract. The first outbreak of this virus was seen in December 2019 in Wuhan City, China. Slowly, it started spreading across the globe. On March 11, 2020, there was a rapid increase in the number of the affected cases and the WHO (World Health Organization) declared COVID-19 as a pandemic.

The virus spreads mainly from person to person contact. The symptoms may range from mild to severe.

Symptoms Of COVID-19?

Coronavirus affects different people in different ways. Most infected people may develop mild to moderate symptoms and also may recover without hospitalization. The main symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Breathlessness
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Tiredness
  • Loss of appetite
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Congestion in nose
  • Diarrhoea
  • Nausea
  • Loss of smell and taste
  • Body ache

This infection can also lead to pneumonia, respiratory failure, heart problems, septic shock and death. If you are infected by the virus, it may take you upto two to few days or 14 days to show the symptoms. It may vary from person to person.

What Is Herd Immunity?

Herd immunity is the immunity developed in a large portion of the community making the spread of the disease from person to person unlikely. This results in immunity development in the whole community.

Herd immunity can be achieved in COVID-19 by two ways, likely by vaccines and by infection. A vaccine for the COVID-19 would be ideal to achieve herd immunity. Vaccines can cause less illness and also fewer complications. Herd immunity can also be achieved when a substantial amount of the people are recovered from the disease, and have developed the antibodies against the future infections. But it is still not clear in case of COVID-19 that the infection makes the person immune to the future infection. Researchers suggest that after infection with coronavirus, reinfection with the same virus is possible after a period of months or years.

To create herd immunity, the large number of people needs to be infected to reach the herd immunity threshold. If many people become sick with the COVID-19 at once, the health care system would be quickly overwhelmed. This amount of infection could lead to serious complications and many deaths, especially the older people and those who have chronic conditions.

Are Masks Effective In Preventing COVID-19?

Wearing medically recommended masks is one of the best preventive measures to limit the spread of many respiratory diseases, including the COVID-19. However, equally other important preventive measures must also be taken, as it alone can’t restrict the transmission of the infection.

Use of a face mask combined with other preventive measures like social distancing, frequently hand sanitising or washing, can help to slow the spread of the virus. The WHO and the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now include the use of face masks for slowing down the transmission of the virus. They say that the public can use the cloth masks, while the healthcare providers can use the surgical and N95 masks.

There are three types of masks – Surgical masks, N95 masks and Cloth masks. Cloth masks are seen to be more beneficial in slowing the spread of the virus. They are cost effective and can be reused after washing.

Sleep & Immune System

Good, sound and ample amount of sleep supports the immune system. It may help reduce the risk of infection and can bring a healthy life. Optimal sleep may help to regulate your mood, improve the brain functioning and make you feel fresh all day. Eventually, it may help in reducing the risk of infection and can bring a healthy life.

Coronavirus Immunity: Can One Catch The Virus Twice?

The team of researchers say that for those who recover from COVID-19, they develop immunity to the virus which can last up to 5 to 7 months or maybe more. This again depends upon the immunity of the person.

Foods To Improve Your Immune System.

So far, there is no proven vaccine or food or home remedy that can protect you from COVID-19. Some of the food stuffs that may potentially help boost your immunity are as follows:

  • Turmeric – It has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is advised to have warm turmeric milk daily.
  • Vitamin C – Foods rich in Vitamin C may be important in strengthening the immunity towards any infections. We should consume more citrus fruits like lemon, oranges, amla and others.
  • Vitamin D – Is also essential. Mushrooms and egg yolk are good sources of Vitamin D.
  • Zinc – It helps your immune system and also metabolic processes. Foods like pumpkin seeds, cashews and green veggies are a good source of Zinc.

Herpes: Symptoms, Causes and Natural Remedies

Is Herpes causing you problems? Herpes is not the end of your world, even though it can be a difficult diagnosis. Learn more about the symptoms, causes, and natural remedies that can help heal herpes.

What is Herpes

Herpes is a viral infection that causes sores in the mouth or genitals. There are two main strains that cause symptoms, but there are many unknown strains. It is spread directly through skin-to-skin contact, such as during oral or vaginal sex.

Which People are More Likely to Contract Herpes

Herpes Simplex Type 1 is more prevalent in children. Herpes simplex type 1 is mainly spread through skin-to-skin contact. The virus can be spread by a kiss, using the same utensil to eat, or sharing a towel.

Herpes simplex viral-2 is primarily spread by sexual contact. This virus is more common in women who have had sex with many partners or at a young age. This virus is also more common in people who have other sexually transmitted illnesses. Weak immune systems are a major factor in the spread of viral infections.

Causes and Symptoms of Herpes Simples

Herpes simplex is spread mainly through direct contact with infected people. Anyone who has contact with a herpes sore is at risk of contracting the virus. Even those who don’t show any symptoms or signs of herpes virus can carry the virus. They can then transfer it to someone else. This is called “viral shedding”.

Consult a doctor immediately if you suspect you have herpes. Visit www.biogetica.com to speak with our doctors 24/7!

Herpes Virus Affects the Body

The virus is always present in the body of a person who has been infected by a herpes virus. The virus slowly moves from skin cells to the nerve cells. The virus does not cause symptoms when it is in nerve cells because it remains an inactive or dormant form. A virus can be triggered under certain conditions, such as:

Herpes Simplex Virus

Many people don’t experience symptoms. Sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between herpes and other skin conditions. If symptoms do occur, they include painful blisters and sores on the affected skin area. The symptoms may be repeated. The severity of the symptoms is determined by where and how the virus enters your body. It is not a life-threatening disease but can cause a debilitating mental state.

Treatment for Herpes

In the world, there are many different medical systems. Each system has a way to treat a specific ailment.

Conventional medicine focuses on physical symptoms and relieving symptoms. Conventional remedies are usually chemical. These treatments provide temporary relief from symptoms. The symptoms recur when the virus is activated in the body again due to a weakened immune system.

Ayurveda and other alternative or natural systems of medicine, such as Homeopathy and Nutraceuticals, aim to change the terrain of your body and mind in order to treat the root cause.

Ayurvedic medicine holds that five elements govern all bodily functions. For diagnosing any illness, these five elements are divided into three doshas, Vata Pitta and Kapha. Ayurvedic texts can help us choose the best herb to treat a specific condition.

Nutraceuticals [1] are dietary supplements that include vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Every person is different and cannot absorb the same nutrients. It is therefore important to know the constitution of an individual before prescribing medicine. A qualified physician will be able to do this.

Homeopathy is another alternative medicine system that adheres to the highest ideal of healing. Homeopathy believes that the best cure is to bring the sick back to health. Homeopathy does not treat a specific organ or part of the human body but rather treats the entire organism to cure any disease. It is based on the holistic treatment of a disease.

To treat a chronic illness such as herpes, it is best to consult a professional who has the necessary qualifications and experience. Visit www.biogetica.com and consult our doctors free of charge.

Herpes Prevention Guidelines

Herpes can be prevented. When you are experiencing an outbreak, it is best to avoid sexual activity. Condoms and other protective methods are often used to stop the spread of viruses during viral shed. Couples who take the necessary precautions will have a lower risk of spreading the virus.

You do not have to stop having sex if you suffer from genital Herpes. You can benefit from knowing some facts and taking some precautions.

By using a condom, you can reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Couples should avoid sexual activity during active outbreaks of herpes. The risk of spreading the virus increases when there are breaks or cuts in the skin.

The virus cannot be transmitted by sharing towels, utensils or toilet seats, or even bathtubs or towels. The virus can only be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact with an affected person.

Here are some tips to help Reduce the risk of Herpes

Couples need to understand herpes and what precautions they should take. It is important, to be honest with your partner. Although it is hard to admit to your partner that you have the virus, knowing will prevent transmission.

Avoid sex a few weeks before you begin to experience symptoms. Contagiousness can occur just days before, after, and during an outbreak.

To stop the spread, one should not have multiple sexual partners. Herpes can be transmitted through sex.

Take immune-boosting supplements to maintain a healthy immune system. People with a stronger immune system are less likely to contract an infection. You can visit this link to get a free doctor’s consultation and learn more about natural immune-boosting products. www.biogetica.com.

Nature Nurture

Are you sick and tired of herpes outbreaks affecting your finances, health, and life? There are many standard treatments that can help heal lesions and reduce pain. However, there are also natural remedies that can provide the same or even more relief for your herpes flare-ups.

Herpes can be a difficult condition to deal with, especially if you have genital or oral herpes. Natural therapies are a typical way to treat herpes. They have proven to be effective, safe, and quick.

You’re probably aware that herbs and supplements can influence the science of your body. Herbs have been used for many ailments, from colds to diseases, including the famous herpes. Some natural remedies are taken orally, while others can be applied topically.

You may try natural remedies [2] in Homeopathy and Ayurveda. Homeopathic remedies [3] help in balancing your constitution. The most important thing to remember is that with natural remedies there is a lot of hope. Many people who once suffered tremendously from continual outbreaks can enjoy their life by using natural therapies such as Hypericum Mysorense [4] for a short period. Hypericum Mysorense, which is an herb, may help boosts your immune system.

When you are managing a constant herpes condition, it’s basic that you have positive energy, and attitude to offer you some assistance with managing your life. When you have negative feelings, you affect your emotional health which can bring about flare-ups as opposed to hindering them. Dealing with your physical body and brain can offer you some assistance to deal with herpes quicker and all the more viably.

How To Treat Herpes At Home

Here are some ways that may help you manage the herpes symptoms at home:

  • You can apply a hot or cold compress on the lesion to reduce pain and itching. Applying a hot or cold compress reduces the chance of blisters. You can wrap a towel around an ice pack and apply it to the painful area.
  • Honey helps in boosting up the immune system. You can add one or two teaspoons of honey to a glass of lukewarm water and drink it daily. It will help in the healing of the sores quickly.

  • Eat fruits and green leafy vegetables for boosting your immune system. Eating a healthy diet is important to stay healthy and fit. Studies suggest that pomegranate helps in reducing outbreaks as it contains zinc.
  • Avoid drinking too much alcohol and smoking. Also, avoid drinking too much caffeine as these substances aggravate the symptoms and lower your immune system.
  • Include spirulina in your daily regimen if possible. If you are not able to find spirulina in pure form, you can click here.
  • Avoid using too many dairy products, eggs, mustard and groundnut oil, and corn products for quick healing of lesions. Also, avoid eating preserved and canned foods.

What is Trigeminal Neuralgia – Diagnosis And Treatment

Do you suffer from Trigeminal Neuropathy? Learn more about Trigeminal Neuralgia, including the causes and possible natural remedies to relieve the pain.

The Trigeminal Neuralgia [TN] affects the 5th cranial (facial) nerve, which transmits sensations from your face to brain. Trigeminal neuralgia is an example of neuropathic (nerve) pain. It is often associated with nerve damage or lesions. Even mild stimuli to the face, such as brushing teeth, being exposed to cold air, or applying makeup, can cause excruciating pain. Women are more likely to suffer from trigeminal neuropathy than men. Trigeminal Neuralgia is more common in people older than 50. Trigeminal Neuralgia is progressive, so the initial pain may be mild, but may become more intense and frequent. It is therefore important to understand trigeminal neuropathy so you can treat it correctly.

Which is the best medication to treat Trigeminal Neuralgia pain

Carbamazepine and antispasmodic muscles relaxants are used in the treatment of trigeminal neuropathy. These medications are not designed to treat trigeminal neuropathy and do not address the root causes. These medications mask symptoms temporarily. After a few weeks, your body will become resistant to the drugs. The dosage must be increased to get optimum results. These painkillers can also cause side effects like nausea, dizziness and confusion. They may also cause skin rashes or kidney and liver damage. These narcotics can also lead to addiction. Imagine how serious that could be.

It is therefore advisable to rely on natural supplements to help strengthen your nervous system, in order to reduce pain naturally and without side effects.

What is Trigeminal Neuralgia and how can it be diagnosed

Your doctor will make a diagnosis of trigeminal neuropathy based primarily on the symptoms and pain you describe.

  • Type of Pain: The pain associated with trigeminal neuropathy is a sudden, shock-like, and often comes in episodes.
  • Pain Location: Your doctor can diagnose the condition by examining your face to determine if it is caused by the trigeminal nervous system.
  • Triggering factors: Trigeminal Neuralgia is usually triggered by a slight stimulation to your cheeks. This can be caused by brushing teeth, talking, applying makeup, or eating.

To diagnose trigeminal neuropathy, your doctor will perform a clinical examination or suggest certain tests. This is to find out the underlying cause of your condition. The doctor may perform a neurological exam of the affected area. Reflex tests can help determine if symptoms are due to a compressed or other condition. An MRI is also possible.

The diagnosis plays a crucial role in treatment. The doctor may recommend additional tests to eliminate other possible causes.

Trigeminal Neuralgia Symptoms

Trigeminal neuropathy is characterized by severe nerve pain that can feel like an electrical shock.

Trigeminal neuropathy can cause one or more of these pain patterns.

  • Pain is most often felt on the right-hand side of the cheek. Rarely, pain can be felt on both sides.
  • The lower jaw is more affected than the upper.
  • The trigeminal nervous system is responsible for pain in the cheeks, jaw, lips and gums as well as in the eye, forehead, and teeth.
  • Trigeminal Neuralgia can start with a constant burning sensation, or even aching.
  • Pain may come in paroxysmal bursts, like a flashing light. Each one may last a minute or so and can occur multiple times throughout the day.
  • Most often, it occurs during the day.
  • Usually, the patient feels no pain between episodes, except for anxiety.
  • You may experience these episodes when you brush your teeth, talk, put on makeup or even feel a cool breeze.
  • The patient might show horrifying facial contortions, such as holding one side of their face immobile. They may also rub the affected area with a handkerchief to calm down the attack.
  • The pain may be localized or spread over a larger area.

Trigeminal Neuralgia can last for several days, and then be followed by remissions lasting for many weeks, months or even years. These intervals usually become shorter, more frequent and more severe over time.

If you have any of these symptoms, it is best to consult a physician. You may even consult one of our doctors for free at Biogetica

What is the best treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia?

Trigeminal Neuralgia is treated with anti-convulsive medicines, anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-inflammatory injections and botox. If these medications do not work, you can consider other surgical procedures, such as Gamma knife treatment, glycerol infusions, balloon compression or radiofrequency thermal lesions. These treatments and medications merely suppress symptoms, but don’t address the underlying cause. These treatments can also cause side effects like nausea, dizziness and confusion. They may also lead to skin rashes or kidney damage.

The best treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia is one that addresses the cause, reduces the symptoms naturally and does not have side effects.

Homeopathic formulas, Ayurvedic herbal remedies, and dietary supplementation are all natural ways to boost your immune system. Trigeminal Neuralgia can be treated with these natural supplements, along with a healthy lifestyle and diet. Biogetica combines all of these natural remedies in a way that targets enhancing your nerve system’s functioning from the root cause, so effects can last a long time. Biogetica’s products, such as Neuralease and TN Formula, OM13 and Cronisol D, are backed by clinical data from Ayurveda, Homeopathy and other sources. A group of doctors confirmed in the study that patients with trigeminal neuropathy experienced a reduction of pain intensity and attacks by more than 60% after using a natural protocol. Natural therapies are a safe and effective way to treat trigeminal neuropathy without side effects.

The ingredients in these supplements, such as aconite, magnesium, bacopa, and hypericum, are supported by recent research.

  • Aconite: According to research, aconite has natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, as well as sedative and nerve strengthening properties. [1]
  • Hypericum: A study indicates that hypericum can influence a long-lasting antihyperalgesic and reduce the activity of inflammation mechanisms that transmit nerve-related and inflammatory pain. [2]
  • Bacopa Monnieri: Studies have shown that this herb has strong anti-inflammatory properties and is rejuvenating. It can also boost your immune system and improve the functioning of your nervous system. [3]
  • Magnesium: According to the study, magnesium can help strengthen nerves and improve their functioning. [4]

Diet Recommendations for Trigeminal Neuralgia

Trigeminal neuropathy patients may benefit from a healthy diet. Patients may want to eat foods that fight inflammation, rejuvenate the nerves and boost their immune system. Foods with natural antioxidants and immune boosting properties are best for TN sufferers.

What to eat:

  • Foods rich in monounsaturated fats, magnesium, Vitamin C,, and vitamin E help to boost immunity and rejuvenate worn-out nervous systems.
  • Cherries, pears and cranberries are all antioxidant-rich. Even cooked vegetables like collards and spinach can be consumed.
  • Magnesium-rich foods include wheat germ, bananas and dairy products.

  • Calcium-rich foods include green beans, almonds and yogurt.
  • In a moderate quantity, include seafood and poultry that is lean. Included in this are chicken and turkey.

Avoid these foods:

  • Avoid hot sauces, spicy foods, and other food that can cause heat sensations as they may cause the nerve to be stimulated and increase pain.
  • Avoid spicy foods such as nutmeg and black pepper.
  • Avoid drinking hot drinks like coffee and tea.
  • Avoid saturated fats in foods such as butter, coconut, cottonseed, palm kernel, and ghee.

Home Remedies For Trigeminal Neuropathy

  • Chamomile tea can calm nerves and reduce pain.
  • Rosemary oil has natural analgesic properties. You can apply it directly to the affected areas. It has nervine properties which may also help.

Tips for Preventive Maintenance

Some general tips to help prevent or lessen the symptoms of this condition include:

  • Drinking as much alkaline water is possible.
  • Avoid foods that are hard or require you to chew more, as this can cause pain.
  • Sleep on the opposite side.
  • Mix vegetable juice is beneficial for your health. It also provides nutrients that help to repair the nerves quickly.
  • Meditation is a great way to reduce anxiety, relax and support the nervous system.
  • Avoid processed and packaged foods, refined sugars, and packed foods.

Are you prone to acidity attacks? It could be ulcers if spicy foods, alcohol, smoking, and overeating cause stomach pain. Learn more about stomach ulcers, and how to heal them naturally.

What are Stomach Ulcers

Stomach ulcers can be characterized by sores on the linings of the stomach and small intestine. The acidic gastric juices can then eat away at the tissues lining the stomach, resulting in stomach ulcers. These are a form of peptic disease. Both the stomach and small intestine are affected by peptic ulcers. It is important to treat stomach ulcers as soon as possible, otherwise, they can get worse. The doctors at Biogetica offer free consultations 24/7. You can contact them by calling or visiting www.biogetica.com.

  • Bacterial Infection: Commonly, Helicobacter Pylori bacteria are found in the mucus which covers and protects the tissues of the small intestine and stomach. Usually, H. H. pylori usually does not cause harm. However, in certain cases, it can lead to ulcers due to an inflammation of the inner layer. H. pylori is spread through kissing or water and food.
  • NSAIDs are not recommended for long-term use. Using anti-inflammatory and painkilling medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen sodium can cause irritation to the lining of your stomach or small intestine.
  • Other medications: Long-term use of NSAIDs, SSRIs, risedronate, alendronate, and anticoagulants such as steroids, anticoagulants, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) can lead to stomach ulcers.
  • Unexplained Weight Loss.

You may still have a peptic Ulcer, even if the symptoms are mild. Our doctors can help you with your symptoms. Your peptic ulcer could worsen if you don’t treat it. Visit our website at www.biogetica.com right now!

Factors that increase the risk of stomach ulcers

Clinical research has shown that lifestyle habits are not the cause of stomach ulcers. It does not, however, rule out that certain factors or habits could be to blame for stomach ulcers.

You should also be aware of other factors that can cause stomach ulcers, such as:

  • Consuming spicy foods may cause irritation of the linings in the stomach and small intestine.
  • Smoking cigarettes increases stomach ulcers, especially for people with H.pylori infection.
  • Alcohol may cause irritation or erosion of the mucus linings in your stomach and small intestinal tract. It increases the amount produced of stomach acid.
  • Most health problems, including stomach ulcers, are caused by stress and anxiety. Stress can lead to unhealthy eating habits, under-eating, and overeating.
  • An excessive intake of caffeine may also cause stomach ulcers.
  • Radiation Therapy or any other therapy may cause irritation, which can lead to ulcer formation.
  • Other Ailments: Peptic Ulcers can be caused by rare conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, and tumors in the duodenum or pancreas.

What Causes Painful Urination

For more information on Urinary Tract Infection, you can speak to our doctors or click on.

What is Urinary Tract Infection

  1.  Bacteria that live in the bowel are most likely to cause UTIs. Escherichia coli is responsible for the majority of UTIs. Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and other microbes can affect the reproductive system and urethra but not the bladder.
  2. Urinary infection can also be caused by improper emptying of your bladder. It can happen when you take certain medications, such as antidepressants, or have constipation, poor bladder control, lack of exercise, and/or are taking antidepressants.
  3. UTI is most commonly caused by enlarged prostate glands in men. The bladder may not be able to empty completely if the prostate gland is enlarged. Urinary tract infections can be caused by other infections, such as an infection in the urethra or the prostate gland.
  4. Certain factors can influence the development and incidence of UTI. These include:

  • Sex & Age: UTI occurs in women of any age. Women have a smaller urethra. Deodorants used on the genitals may also lead to infection. Some women may experience an infection following menopause due to the lack of female sexual hormones.
  • Pregnancy: Urinary infections during pregnancy are common. Women who are pregnant may experience frequent urinary tract infections.
  • Diabetes Mellitus: High blood sugar levels can lead to frequent urinary tract infections.
  • Obstruction of the Urinary Tract: The most common cause of infection is any obstruction of the urinal organ in the urinary system. This can be caused by the presence of stones in any part of the urinary system.
  • Use Instruments: The entry of bacteria into the urinary tract can be caused by the use of instruments such as catheters.
  • Sexually transmitted infection: People with sexually transmitted infections such as Chlamydia, Herpes, and gonorrhea can also experience painful urination. Other symptoms may accompany these diseases.
  • Infection of the prostate: The infection of the prostate in men can also cause painful urination. It can cause difficulty passing urine, as well as pain in the testicles, penis, and bladder.
  • Stones in the Kidneys: Kidney Stones can cause inflammation and pain when passing urine. The stones can sometimes get stuck in the urinary system, causing painful urination.
  • Ovarian cysts: Can cause pain when urinating. They can appear on either side of the ovaries and put pressure on your bladder.
  • Interstitial Cystitis This is an infection that lasts a long period of time in the bladder. This can cause irritation and pain while passing urine.
  • Vaginal Infection: Bacterial infections of the vagina, also known as vaginitis, is another common reason for painful urination among women. This condition can also cause women to experience vaginal irritation, foul-smelling discharge, and pain when having an intimate relationship.
  • Medications Medicines prescribed to treat bladder cancer can cause irritation or inflammation of the bladder. This can cause pain when passing urine.

Natural Remedies And Diet Plans For Kidney Stones

Does that sharp pain and difficulty urinating on your side come from kidney stones? Learn more about Kidney Stones.

What Are Kidney Stones

Calcium Stones

These are the most common types of kidney stones. Calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate are the main components. Calcium stones can be caused by foods high in oxalate, such as spinach, chocolate, potato chips, and peanuts. These foods contain oxalate, so reducing their intake can reduce the risk of developing these stones. In addition, small intestinal diseases can increase the likelihood of calcium oxalate stone formation. Acidified urine does not dissolve calcium stones.

Uric Acid Stones

Men are more likely to develop uric acid stones. Those who suffer from gout and those undergoing chemotherapy are at risk for developing uric acid stones. When urine becomes too acidic, they form. Purine metabolism problems can lead to uric acid stones. Purine and proteins are both purines. Taking too much of either can lead to uric acid stones. Avoid eating animal foods such as shellfish, meat, and fish.

Struvite stones

Struvite is found only in rare cases. Women who suffer from recurrent UTIs are more likely to develop these stones. Struvite can become very large, and obstruct the urinary system. This obstruction may also cause infection in the kidneys. These stones can dissolve when urine is acidified with vitamin C.

Cystine Stones

The rarest stones are cystine stones. Both men and women can be affected by the genetic disorder cystinuria. The inability to absorb cystine is the cause of Cystinuria, a hereditary disorder. The body contains an acid called cysteine, which is released through urine. Cystine stones are more common in children.

Symptoms Of Kidney Stones

Common symptoms are:

  • The most common kidney stone symptom is a sudden pain that radiates to the back or occurs when passing urine.
  • Some cases of blood in urine can be caused by damage to the lining of the walls of the urinary tract.
  • Pain that starts in the flank and spreads to the groin. The pain in the back and flank can be unilateral or bilateral.
  • The pain can be severe, excruciating, colicky, or pricking.
  • Urinary infection can be caused by kidney stones.
  • There may be nausea and vomiting.
  • Urination becomes more frequent and urgent.
  • Incontinence or urine in drops can be caused by stones.
  • Painful micturition.
  • You may see blood or urine with an abnormal color.
  • In some cases, burning can occur due to an accumulation of minerals within the body.
  • You may experience edema or swelling in the feet due to less urine.
  • Infection of the kidneys can cause fever and chills.

You can speak with our doctors free of charge if you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above. Call us at +918080877877, or visit our website at www.biogetica.com

Urinary Tract Infection.

  • Obstruction and unilateral acute unilateral obstructive urinary syndrome.
  • Hydronephrosis and kidney damage are both conditions that affect the function of the kidneys.

Conventional Treatment

The type of stone and the cause will determine the treatment. The majority of kidney stones can be removed without surgery. Depending on the type of stone, you may need to take medications for decreasing/break down or eliminate it.

Diuretics, phosphates, antibiotics (for the struvite stone), allopurinol, and substances to help alkalize urine are among the most common treatments for kidney stones that have been approved by US FDA. The drugs help control the symptoms at first, but they do not address the cause of the stones or prevent a recurrence. The reason for this is that kidney stones are a result of a weakening renal system. No pharmaceutical drug can boost the immune system, improve metabolism or improve urinary function. Conventional drugs suppress symptoms but do not prevent recurrence.

Supplemental oxygen therapy is another treatment that can be used to treat severe COPD. The antibiotics only have a short-term effect, so their dosage must be increased. Albuterol can be used as a drug to relieve symptoms and prevent airway blockage. These medicines can also cause a variety of side effects, including nausea, vomiting, and allergic reactions. Other symptoms include chest pain, dizziness, headaches, palpitations, and headaches.

Natural Treatments

Ayurveda or homeopathy are natural treatments for kidney stones that target the root cause. When the kidney system does not function properly, a kidney stone can form. FDA has approved natural products for treating Kidney Stones. Natural supplements may help balance the kidney system, improve its functioning, and boost the immune system.

Natural ingredients like:

  1. Boerhaavia diffusas: This herb is thought to have diuretic and anti-bacterial properties, as well as antioxidant, hepatoprotective, and immunomodulatory. In Ayurvedic texts, it is regarded as a rejuvenating herb and may be an effective remedy for the kidneys and the heart. B. diffusa is believed to protect kidney cells from injury and oxidative stress in the presence of hyperoxaluric stones. [1]
  2. Bergenia Ligulata: This herb is extensively studied for its ability to alleviate urinary stones, painful micturition, and calculi. In vitro and in-vivo studies have shown that the herb has anti-urolithic effects and is a diuretic. It also exhibits hypermagneseuric, antioxidant, and diuretic properties. This may be beneficial for the treatment of urolithiasis. [2]
  3. Shilajit: This herb has traditionally been used to treat brain disorders, nerves, and kidney problems. It is also believed to be beneficial for reproductive organs, endocrine systems, the bladder, and the brain. Shilajit was studied for its anti-oxidative properties in a group urolithiasis sufferers. The results showed that Shilajit prevented the formation of stony concretions within the urinary or bladder tract due to oxidative stress. The study showed that shilajit could be useful in the regeneration of damaged renal tissue. [3]
  4. Tribulus Terrestris  This herb, which is used in ayurvedic medicine, is believed to be a powerful herbal remedy that boosts immunity, combats stress, increases energy, endurance, and vitality, and protects the prostate, urinary, and heart systems. In vitro studies showed that T. terrestris could not only inhibit the formation of CaOx, but it also protected cells from harmful agents. [4]

Cystine stones

  • It is important to drink at least 2 liters of fluid every day in order to avoid the recurrence or a cystine stone.
  • Avoid alcohol and other foods or drinks that cause dehydration.

Obesity Health Risks And Natural Weight Loss Strategies

You may be at risk of serious health problems if you are overweight or obese. Learn more about the risks associated with obesity, and how natural remedies can help you on your journey to weight loss. The Covid situation makes it more important than ever to lose weight as the Coronavirus adversely affects overweight people.

Obesity occurs when there is an abnormal amount of fat within the cells of a body or a distribution of fat that is unhealthy. It increases your risk of developing serious health issues. It puts strain on the muscles, bones, and other organs. Obesity does not necessarily mean you will have a health problem. It increases your risk of developing one, or even more. Our doctors will answer your obesity questions 24/7 at www.biogetica.com. Visit our website right now!

Common Health Risks Of Obesity

1. Type 2 Diabetes

This occurs when blood sugar levels are higher than normal. It can also increase your risk of developing other health problems, such as renal disease and damage to the nerves.

2. Heart Disease

Obesity is associated with heart disease. Over time, fatty deposits in the arteries supply blood to the heart. Obesity can lead to high blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and lipids. These factors contribute to heart disease.

3. Stroke

Heart disease and stroke are closely related. When the blood supply to the brain is blocked, a stroke occurs. A stroke can damage brain cells and cause disabilities like speech and language impairments, weak muscles, and disturbances in thinking and reasoning.

4. Sleep Apnea

A person can stop breathing for a moment while asleep. Obese people are more likely to suffer from sleep apnea. It usually occurs because the airway is narrowed by excess fat around the neck. This can lead to snoring or difficulty breathing during the night. Weight loss will reduce the amount of fat around the neck.

5. High Blood Pressure

The blood vessels narrow when fat deposits are deposited in the cells of the body and more blood is needed to reach the organs. Your heart will have to work harder in order to pump more blood into other parts of your body. The arteries are put under more pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is more pressure in the arteries. Hypertension can lead to heart disease.

6. The following are some of the ways to reduce your risk:

Many people who are obese may also suffer from depression, according to studies. The stigmas of society can cause them to feel low self-esteem and sadness. For more information on depression, click on the link https://www.biogetica.com/does-natural-anxiety-or-depression-treatment-cure-bipolar-and-postpartum, or get in touch with our doctors to seek help right now.

7. Liver Disease

Fat liver disease is a common liver condition that can affect obese people. It is a condition where extra fat accumulates in the liver. Cirrhosis can be caused by this extra fat, which can cause damage to the liver’s structure and function. It is possible that a person will not show any symptoms, but over time, it can lead to chronic liver disease and eventually liver failure. Losing weight, exercising and avoiding alcohol consumption are the best ways to manage this condition.

8. Gallbladder Disease

Gallbladders play an important part in digestion as they store bile. During digestion, it is transferred to the small intestines which aids in fat digestion. Obesity increases the risk of gallstones. Gallstones are formed when bile accumulates and builds up in the gallbladder. Obesity can cause higher cholesterol levels in bile. This may interfere with the normal function of the gallbladder. Gallstones can be painful if they form.

9. Pregnancy Complications

Overweight women are more likely to experience high blood sugar levels and high blood tension. Insulin resistance can occur. It increases the risks of complications during delivery and pregnancy. These risks include blood clots and premature birth. They also include gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and stillbirth.

Do these health conditions that are related to obesity concern you? You can reach our doctors 24/7 by visiting our website www.biogetica.com or calling +18005920304.

Hypothyroidism: Its Causes, Symptoms And Natural Treatments

Are you bothered by hypothyroidism? Learn more about hypothyroidism and how to heal it.

What is Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism occurs when your body does not produce enough thyroid hormones. The thyroid gland is a small butterfly-shaped organ located in the front of the neck. It helps regulate energy and releases hormones. Deficiency in thyroid hormone can affect normal body functions. Hypothyroidism is more common in women than men. The condition can affect anyone, but it is most common in those over 60 years old. Treatment for hypothyroidism can be simple and different options are available.

What is the effect of hypothyroidism on the body?

Severe hypothyroidism can reduce metabolism and the intake of calories. Hypothyroidism causes major changes to the normal physiology in different organ systems. It can affect the body in several ways.

  • Reduces oxygen consumption
  • Low metabolism can cause disturbances to the function of organs such as the kidney, heart, and respiratory system.

You can click here or contact our doctors for more information to help you restore health and freedom.

How does hypothyroidism affect your metabolism

Your metabolic activity is controlled by thyroid hormones. Your body will burn calories more if you have a higher metabolic rate. Hypothyroidism is a hormonal deficiency that causes a slow metabolism. A slow metabolism can cause fatigue, weakness and increase your blood cholesterol. It may also make it hard to lose weight.

The dangers of hypothyroidism

The pituitary gland produces more thyroid-stimulating hormonal to stimulate the thyroid gland into producing more hormones when a person’s thyroid hormone levels are low. The pituitary gland may enlarge the thyroid gland, causing goiter. Untreated symptoms can progress. The condition is easily diagnosed. Simple blood tests can be used to diagnose this condition. Do not waste time when addressing this issue.

Signs and Symptoms

The severity of a condition will also affect the signs and symptoms. As thyroid hormone levels drop, symptoms become more apparent.

Hypothyroidism can manifest in many ways.

  • Weight gain.
  • Fatigue.
  • Depression.
  • Feeling cold
  • Constipation.
  • Dry skin is a common problem.
  • Muscle weakness.
  • Reduced sweating.
  • Slow heart rate
  • Joint pain and stiffness.
  • Memory impairment.
  • Menstrual irregularity.
  • Face swelling and puffiness.

Treatment of hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism can be a chronic condition. Your doctor may prescribe medication to help stimulate your thyroid gland into producing more thyroid hormone. These medications don’t address the cause of hypothyroidism but only reduce its symptoms. To manage symptoms, one must take conventional treatments for the rest of their lives.

You can cope with hypothyroidism by following these diet recommendations:

A balanced diet

For people with hypothyroidism, a balanced diet should include whole grains, beans and fruits, as well as green leafy vegetables, lean proteins, to ensure that the gland is functioning normally.

Soy consumption

Soy can interfere with thyroid hormone absorption. Too much soy will interfere with the absorption. Avoid eating or drinking any soy products two hours prior to or following the thyroid medication.

Fiber intake

Fiber can also interfere with absorption. Fiber can also interfere with the absorption. Fiber should be consumed several hours before or following thyroid medication.

Sugar-free diet

Sugar and processed food can cause inflammation in your body. Inflammation may slow thyroid hormone production. Sugar gives you a temporary boost of energy. Sugar can reduce stress and help regulate thyroid function.

Vitamin B

Vitamin B has a positive effect on the body. Vitamin B12 may be able to help repair damage caused by this condition. This also reduces fatigue and weakness. To increase your vitamin intake, you can add foods like peas, beans, sesame, cheese, milk and asparagus to your diet. [5]

Probiotics

Hypothyroidism is often associated with gastric issues such as diarrhea. Probiotics can support the normal function of your stomach and intestinal tract. Fermented foods and drinks such as kefir and cheese, and yogurt may contain probiotics which can improve digestion.

Zinc

Zinc also helps activate thyroid hormone secretion. According to studies, zinc can also regulate thyroid-stimulating hormonal signals that tell the thyroid gland when to release thyroid hormones. If you have a thyroid hormone deficiency, include foods rich in zinc such as beef, chicken and shellfish in your diet. [6]

Effective Remedies for Alleviating Sinus Pressure: A Guide

Do you suffer from sinusitis? On this page, you will find information about sinusitis and natural remedies, such as herbal and homeopathic remedies, for sinuses. Alternative home remedies, such as decongestants or pain relievers can help you recover faster.

What is Sinusitis

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the tissue lining the sinuses. The sinuses are hollow cavities that exist in our cheekbones, behind our noses, and within our ears. The sinuses usually contain air. They become blocked and fill with fluids, which can cause bacteria to grow. The sinuses are the air-filled pockets located behind your nose, forehead and cheeks. Mucus is secreted by the lining of your sinuses to act as a protective mechanism, trapping germs. The mucus secretion can increase due to an allergy or bacteria. This blocks the sinus openings. This mucus is a breeding ground for bacteria and other germs that can cause viral or bacteria infection. Sinusitis can be caused by a viral infection that will usually go away in a few weeks or days without treatment.

Sinusitis Types

Three types of sinusitis exist:

  1. Acute sinusitis: The duration of acute sinusitis is short. The symptoms of a viral infection can last for up to two weeks. If it’s bacterial, they may last from three to four weeks.
  2. Sub-Acute Sinusitis: This condition is usually caused by seasonal allergies and can last for up to three to four months.
  3. Chronic Sinusitis is a common condition that occurs when there are structural nasal problems, allergies or bacterial infections. The symptoms can last longer than three months. As their airways become more inflamed, people with allergic rhinitis have a higher risk of developing chronic sinusitis.

To know more about Sinusitis, consult one of our doctors or click here.

Acute Sinusitis

Acute sinusitis, on the other hand, is a short-term inflammation of the tissues that line the sinuses. It is often caused by viral infections. It can last for several weeks.

Acute Sinusitis: Causes and Treatment

  • Bacterial.
  • Viral.
  • Fungal.
  • Nasal polyp
  • Adenoid infections
  • Tooth decay.

Acute Sinusitis Symptoms

  • Yellow mucus with thick green mucus.
  • Itching in the throat.
  • Headache.
  • Toothache.
  • Cough.
  • The sense of smell is reduced.
  • Fever.
  • Fatigue
  • The sensation of taste is also reduced.

Acute Sinusitis Diagnosis

Your doctor will perform a physical examination. The doctor can quickly diagnose the problem by pressing the sinuses. To confirm the diagnosis, doctors may perform tests such as a Nasal endoscopy or CT, MRI or CT imaging test.

Subacute Sinusitis

Subacute sinusitis occurs when the symptoms last longer than usual, usually between 4 and 8 weeks.

Causes of Sinusitis

  • Bacterial infection
  • Viral infection
  • Nasal deviated septum.
  • Dental complaints.
  • Allergies.

Subacute Sinusitis Symptoms

  • Greenish mucus discharges from the nose
  • Cough.
  • Fever.
  • Headache.
  • Block nose
  • Loss of smell
  • Sore throat

Diagnosis of Subacute Sinusitis

Your doctor will perform a physical examination. The doctor can quickly diagnose the problem by pressing the sinuses. To confirm the diagnosis, doctors may perform tests such as a Nasal endoscopy or CT or MRI imaging test.

Chronic Sinusitis

Chronic sinusitis is characterized by prolonged inflammation of the tissues. Chronic sinusitis is defined as symptoms that last more than 12 week. In such cases, long-term treatment is recommended to prevent further complications.

Causes of Chronic Sinusitis

  • Allergies such as pollen grains, dust allergies or chemical allergies.
  • Nasal polyps.
  • Differing nasal septum
  • Infections bacterial and viral
  • Chronic sinusitis is also caused by certain health conditions such as asthma, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and cystic fibrosis.

Chronic Sinusitis Symptoms

  • Greenish-yellow mucus in the nose
  • Mucus draining from the throat.
  • There is pain and tenderness in the cheeks, forehead, and eyes.
  • Sore throat
  • Bad Breath
  • Stuffy nose.
  • Fever.
  • Cold and cough
  • Loss of taste and smell
  • Fatigue.
  • Dental infection.

Diagnosis of Chronic Sinusitis

  • The doctor can examine the sinuses in the nose using a fiber-optic light tube.
  • A sample of nasal discharges is sent to the lab to rule out bacterial or fungus infection.
  • A test for allergies is performed to eliminate the possible cause.
  • Imagining tests such as CT or MRI show the details of nasal sinuses.

Conventional Treatment

The type of sinusitis and the cause will determine how to treat it. The following is the treatment:

  • Simple sinusitis can be treated with nasal decongestants and saline nasal washes.
  • Many doctors will prescribe antibiotics if symptoms don’t disappear within a week.
  • Regular use of a steam inhaler or vaporizer is recommended.
  • You can also use warm compresses to soothe the pain.
  • Antihistamines can be used to treat allergic sinusitis.
  • Antifungal medication is prescribed by doctors for fungal infections.

Shedding Pounds with Ayurveda: Natural Weight Loss Guide

Do you struggle to lose weight? Ayurveda is an ancient medical system that uses techniques from centuries ago to target stubborn fat that resists exercise by stimulating your digestive fire. Ayurveda is unique in its personal approach. Diet, exercise, and weight loss regimens are not the same for everyone.

Ayurveda, the science of healing, dates back to around 5000 BC. Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems in the world. It has gained popularity worldwide. Let’s take a look at some Ayurveda dietary practices to see how effective they are in weight loss.

Obesity is a major concern during the Covid-19 Pandemic, as it increases the complications. The main cause of death has always been obesity. Many people spend lots of money on organic food, go to the gym and eat supplements in order to lose weight.

They are too busy to do it regularly. It may work well for you to lose weight, but the side effects can be very harmful. Ayurveda, the science behind a balanced diet, is a routine that combines discipline and diet. It will not harm your body, but will instead sync up your mind, your body, and your soul.

What Are the Common Causes of Obesity

  • Genetics. If both parents are overweight, a person is more likely to develop obesity. Genetics can also influence hormones that regulate fat.
  • Physical inactivity. Inactive people consume fewer calories than active people.
  • Overeating. High-energy foods are those high in sugar or fat, such as fast food, sweets, and fried food.
  • Carbohydrates. Experts say that simple carbohydrates such as sugar, fructose and desserts, soft drinks beer, wine, etc. are the culprits. They cause weight gain because they are absorbed more quickly into the bloodstream compared to complex carbohydrates such as pasta, grains, rice, vegetables, fruits and raw fruit. This causes a greater insulin release following meals compared to complex carbohydrates.
  • Regularity in eating. Many overweight people eat less than those with normal weight. Scientists found that those who eat four to five small meals daily had lower cholesterol levels and stable blood sugar levels than those who ate less often.
  • Emotional factors. Emotional factors. Some people tend eat more when they are feeling bored, sad, stressed or angry. Most overweight people do not have more psychological problems than people of normal weight, but about 30% have trouble with binge eating.
  • Obesity is also caused by diseases such as insulin resistance, hypothyroidism and polycystic Ovaries Syndrome.

If you would like to know more about natural weight loss supplements and how they can help, please contact one of our doctors.

Eat According to Your Dosha

Ayurvedic philosophy teaches that humans need to balance out three types of energy. Each is related to natural elements.

Vata

It is the force that energizes the mind and body and governs the nervous system. Vata, when in balance is energetic and lively. When the Vata is out of balance, one can experience dry skin, coughing, and dry hair.

Ayurvedic Diet:

  • Every 2 hours, eat 3 to 4 small meals.
  • Include lots of vegetables cooked in your diet.
  • Avoid dark shade vegetables like eggplants, peppers, tomatoes etc.
  • Consume juicy, sweet fruits. Avoid astringent fruit like cranberries or raw apples.
  • Limit legumes.
  • Include nuts and seeds in a variety, preferably as milks.
  • Avoid products that are addictive, such as alcohol, tobacco and sugar.
  • Avoid eating raw, frozen, or cold foods.

Pitta

Pitta represents the element of fire. Pitta dominant individuals tend to be strong-willed and determined, with leadership qualities. Pitta imbalance can cause anger, agitation, and even burning disorders like ulcers and inflammation.

Ayurvedic Diet:

  • Include raw vegetables and salads as part of your daily diet.
  • Moderation is the key to eating meat, seafood, and eggs.
  • Avoid coffee, alcohol, and spicy foods.
  • Avoid nuts and seeds.
  • Limit your consumption of legumes.
  • Include sweetened dairy products.

Dosha Kapha

Maintains body resistance. Kapha dominant individuals are calm, steady, and thoughtful. Regular exercise, stimulating activities, and extra fluid intake can help maintain balance. Earth and water are associated with the energy of your body structure.

According to Ayurvedic traditions, your diet should be based on your dosha.

Ayurvedic Diet:

  • Reduce the amount of food that you consume.
  • Avoid dairy products and foods that are high in fat.
  • Limit protein.
  • Consume lots of vegetables and leafy greens that are grown aboveground.
  • Astringent fruits such as apples, cranberries and mangoes are good for you.
  • Limit your intake of nuts and seeds, as well as animal products.

Diet Right

Your dosha determines right diet for you:

The Paleo Diet

The Paleo Diet was inspired by foods that our caveman ancestors consumed in the Paleolithic period. Paleo diet experts say it will help you to lose weight and boost your immunity. In general, this diet involves eating healthy fats such as olive oil, meat, fish, vegetables, nuts, fruits, and eggs in moderation. Avoid grains, legumes and dairy products, potatoes, processed foods, vegetable oil, and salt.

The Ayurveda View

  • Pittas would probably do better on the Paleo diet because their strong digestive system could handle meat better.
  • Individuals with a vata dominant intestine have a more delicate digestive system, and would therefore have difficulty.

The Kaphas type does not need as much protein or fat as other types but it thrives with a lot of vegetables.

The Keto Diet

The Keto diet is low-carb and high-fat. It shares many similarities with other low-carb diets, such as the Atkins, Paleo, or Atkins. Experts say that by reducing your carbohydrate consumption and increasing your fat intake, you can enter a metabolic condition called ketosis, which will help your body become a fat-burning device. Keto-eating people prefer low carb foods such as meat, fish and eggs, vegetables, and natural fats, like butter and olive oil. Also, they avoid starch and sugary products such as bread, pastas, sweets, potatoes, sodas, juices, and rice.

The Ayurvedic View

  • The ketogenic diet is a good choice for those with a vata dominant body type.
  • Individuals of Pitta dosha are also acceptable.
  • It would be very hard on a Kapha. Kaphas are the slowest in metabolism, and their constitutions were not meant to be fat-laden.

Fasting is a part of the keto diet, and it may not suit all body types. You eat a light meal early in the evening and then fast for 12-14 hrs. Your body will then enter ketosis, a metabolic state where your body starts to burn fat for energy, and your glucose reserves are depleted. Pittas who have a fast metabolism may not benefit from this type of fasting.

The Vegan Diet

Vegans avoid animal products such as meat, dairy, eggs, seafood, and legumes and eat whole grains, legumes and fruits and vegetables.

The Ayurvedic View

  • Ayurveda considers dairy to be Sattvic. Vegans, however, avoid it completely. Daily diet includes ghee (clarified butter), milk, paneer, and lassi.

Vata types do not respond well to cold foods or raw food. Pitta and Kapha people could.

Intermittent Fasting

The pattern of intermittent fasting involves eating and fasting for a set period of time.

Ayurvedic View

  • Vata people will not feel good if they go more than 12 hour without eating. Vata is prone to low blood sugar when they do not eat enough. Vata people are very active and need a breakfast that is packed with nutrients.
  • Pitta dosha people tend to be very hungry. You’ll be fine with a 12 hour fast, and you might be able get to 14 or even 16 hours. But be careful if you become too strict about what you eat.
  • Kaphas are known to hang on to almost everything. Kaphas are easily affected by memories, resentments from the past and calories. This is why kaphas do not need to eat nearly as much as Vata or Pitta, even though their sweet tooth may be extreme.

Ayurveda on the other side still advises that you eat balanced meals , and to not overdo it. Overeating clogs our body tissues. Stomach, liver, and intestines are overloaded with food, resulting in low energy levels and brain fog. You basically undo the benefits of fasting intermittently! If you find it difficult to control your appetite during an extended fast, try a shorter time period.

  • Choose a 3 meal plan a day without snacking. When you give your body a constant supply of fuel, it will forget how to burn fat.
  • Have a breakfast of a medium size between 7:30-9:00 a.m.
  • Have your largest meal between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
  • Eat your dinner between 5:30 and 8:00 pm.

Include all six flavors in your diet. Ayurveda identifies six tastes: sweet, sour and salty. Include all six tastes in your daily diet. The anabolic (building) nature of sweet, salty, and sour tastes requires the catabolic (burning) nature of pungent, bitter, and astringent flavors to balance them. Too many sweet, salty and sour tastes can lead to rapid weight gain. Bitter foods, like leafy vegetables – spinach, Kale, etc. Ginger, spicy peppers, and astringent foods like cranberries and pears are all healthy alternatives to sweet, salty, and sour tastes.

Short walks after each meal will stimulate digestion.

Exploring Potential Treatment Options for Parkinson’s Disease

What is Parkinson’s Disease (PD)

Parkinson’s disease affects the body’s movements. The disease is caused by a lack of hormones. It is a chemical that sends signals for muscle coordination. This slowly progressing disorder primarily affects nerve cells. PD patients struggle to carry out their daily activities. The conventional treatment is a variety of drugs which only treat symptoms and not the root cause. Alternative therapies are effective in restoring normal function by identifying and treating the root cause.

Causes and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease

It is not known what the real is. Genetic and environmental factors may be involved. Parkinson’s symptoms are caused by low levels of dopamine.

Among the factors that can increase your risk are:

  • Parkinson’s disease is more common in men than women.
  • Whites are more likely to develop PD than African Americans and Asians.
  • The age range between 50 and 60 is more vulnerable. A small number of people under the age of 40 may be affected.
  • People who have a close relative with PD may be more susceptible to developing the disease.
  • Certain environmental toxins can increase the risk for developing PD.
  • Parkinson’s is more common in people who have suffered a head injury.

Parkinson’s Disease symptoms

Parkinson’s symptoms appear gradually. People with PD will experience mild tremors and cramps. They may also shake their hands when writing or talking.

The tremors can become severer as the disease advances and interfere with daily activities. The hands and legs begin to shake and the person can no longer hold things or walk without feeling unstable.

Some people develop the tendency to lean forward. The rate at which the disease progresses can vary from one person to another. The disease can affect different body parts. Loss of muscle function may occur as more nerve cells are destroyed.

The Stages of Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s symptoms may progress slowly or worsen with time. There are five distinct stages of symptoms.

Stage 1

The symptoms are very mild and not visible. The symptoms won’t interfere with your daily activities.

Stage 2

The second stage may take several months or even years. Symptoms can vary from person to person. Symptoms experienced during this phase include:

  • Muscle stiffness
  • Tremors
  • Trembling
  • Faces changing their expressions

Stage 3

The symptoms are more obvious. The symptoms start to interfere with daily activities. The patient may experience a slowing of their movements and have balance problems. At this stage, patients may not require assistance.

Stage 4

Stage 4 is characterized by significant changes. Patients may have difficulty standing up without assistance. Muscle contractions slow down. The patient is at risk of becoming ill if they live alone.

Stage 5

This is a very advanced stage. The patient requires full-time care as the symptoms become more severe. A wheelchair is often needed if standing alone is impossible. Patients may become confused and experience hallucinations or delusions at this stage.

Treatment for Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s Disease: Conventional Treatment

Tremors are treated with anticholinergic drugs in the conventional treatment of Parkinson’s disease. The drugs include benztropine and procyclidine. These drugs can cause many side effects, including dry mouth, urinary retention, constipation and blurred vision. Some people may feel confused or experience hallucinations.

Amantadine is another drug that’s commonly used with anticholinergics. Amantadine can cause a variety of side effects, including restlessness, edema and irregular heartbeat.

Levodopa is also prescribed in combination with Carbidopa by doctors for those suffering from PD. These drugs can cause nausea, vomiting and hypotension. They may also produce irregular heartbeats.

Dopamine agonists, which include bromocriptine pergolide pramipexole and ropinirol, are also used to treat PD. These drugs have many side effects.

Some individuals may benefit from other treatments such as yoga, nutrition supplements and exercise, or diet changes.

Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease with Natural Treatment

Alternative therapies for Parkinson’s include herbs, homeopathic remedies, and nutritional supplements. The natural treatment of Parkinson’s helps improve brain function and quality of life. Complementary therapies have also been shown to increase dopamine levels.

Biogetica’s Herpes Study: Natural Treatments Surpass Antivirals

Biogetica announced today its groundbreaking trial results on Herpes.

Combining Hyperisince with Reginmune, the company’s products, has shown to be effective in reducing treatment time and allowing for early treatment.

In 2004, Dr. T Vijayan, from the JSS School of Pharmaceuticals, discovered that Hypericum Mysorense extracts from a rare Nilgiri Hills plant could suppress herpes in-vitro. Herpes being the second most prevalent virus on the planet, the news was covered internationally for a couple of days. Articles like “A cure to herpes in Nilgiri Hills?” were published.

The FDA halted the trials after reports that the synthetic hypericin molecules had side effects.

Biogetica, a global group of Doctors and Scientists devoted to natural medicine, was the only company that used the plant and did not use a synthetic version of the active molecule. It was a challenge to get it into cell membranes so that it could work in vivo. The blood-brain barriers were also crossed to reach the nerve ganglia, where herpes thrives.

Biogetica entered clinical trials after 12 years of research. Hyperisince is made up of a mixture of plant molecules which allows Hypericum Mysorense to enter the cell wall and exert antiviral properties. This combination was patented both in India and the USA.

In 2017, clinical trials showed that Herpes treatment was effective. This dispelled the myth that Ayurveda is slow to work and that people with Herpes are always prone to recurrences. The trial showed that an outbreak of herpes usually lasts for 21 days. Acyclovir, the FDA-approved pharmaceutical for herpes, can reduce this duration to nine days. Hyperisince combined with Reginmune reduced the average duration to just 3 days. In addition, 76% patients with genital shingles who received the combination of Reginmune and Hyperisince did not experience a herpes relapse during the two-year follow-up.

Since then, Hyperisince is licensed by AYUSH to manage herpes. It has slowly gained popularity with both Doctors as well as Patients who are looking for a way to safely and effectively deal with this virus pest. Herpes is a serious condition that can leave a permanent scar on the body and mind. Herpes also triples the risk of HIV infection. Herpes antibodies will most likely remain in the body for the rest of one’s life, as antibodies are a defense mechanism the body uses to protect itself. It is possible that their viral load can go to zero and they will not recur.

Dr. Vijay Kamat of Biogetica commented on this development. “It’s amazing to see that nature, in its original perfection, can outperform synthetic molecules and complement them as medicine. Both Doctors and patients are becoming more aware of this reality. The old paradigm that patents and mimics molecules for profit are going away because the perfection of living cannot be replicated in a laboratory. “We are eternally grateful to Doctors around the world who have helped us achieve this point, and to those who realize that Hippocratic Oaths are made for patient healing and not to a specific medical system.”

He added that he “we are successful as each study we conducted has shown groundbreaking outcomes. Hypericin, for example, has not yet sold even a tenth of the amount of pharmaceuticals that they performed better in the study. “We keep going, because every day we get a thank you letter from somewhere.”

More details on the trial:

The total number of responses eligible for evaluation was 101. HSV-1 infected 31 patients; 48 were infected by HSV-2, and 17 had both types. Eighty-eight (87.13%) patients had previously been treated with another drug. Acyclovir is the most commonly used previous treatment. Seventy-six percent of patients reported symptom relief. The duration of herpes pain and nerve pain was reduced significantly following Hyperisince treatment.

The frequency of symptoms decreased. Hyperisince’s efficacy was greater when used for more than 4 months. Twenty-one patients gave Hyperisince a rating of 10 out of 10, and 58 participants gave it a rating >=5. Hyperisince relieved symptoms, reduced nerve pain and improved overall health. Hyperisince reduced the risk of a herpes outbreak when taken over a period of 4 months. The majority of patients gave efficacy a rating >=5 out of 10. The effectiveness of Hyperisince increased when it was used for more than 4 months.

Herpes Simplex has now been ranked as the second most prevalent virus in the world, after the common cold. According to new research, being infected by herpes increases one’s risk of contracting HIV threefold. Acyclovir or Valtrex are antiviral creams and drugs that treat only the symptoms of Herpes.

International Journal of Research in Ayurveda & Pharmacy published a study on the Patient-reported outcome with Biogetica Hyperisince Formula. This study is groundbreaking as it shows that herbal supplements are sometimes more effective than pharmaceuticals. Biogetica’s products have also been approved by the AYUSH Department of Ayurvedic Medicine, Unani Medicine, Siddha Medicine, and Homeopathic Medicine as Ayurvedic Medicines for Herpes Simplex.

Patent Number 808/MUM/2013 has been published by the Indian Patent Office for Biogetica’s proprietary formulation Hyperisince, which combines Hypericum mysorense and other Anti-Viral herbs with a unique cell delivery mechanism. The US published a Patent Number- 10,744,175. This document is available for your use.

Natural Remedies for Acid Reflux

Acid Reflux can also be referred to as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disorder. This is a condition where stomach contents, including acids and digestive enzymes, leak into the esophagus. Acid reflux is sometimes called Hyperacidity. This is a common condition, and we usually associate it with acidity. There is more to this than we realize. Recent studies have suggested a connection between stomach cancer and prolonged acidity. It is therefore important to deal with acid reflux as soon as possible. This blog will provide you with all the information on acid reflux, including natural remedies.

What is Acid Reflux

The food we eat passes through the esophagus to the stomach, where it is then digested. The lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is a ring of muscle that prevents food from leaking into the esophagus. Acid reflux, or GERD occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter does not function properly. This causes stomach contents such as digestive enzymes and acid to leak back into your esophagus. The regurgitated fluid contains mainly acid and pepsin, which are produced by the stomach. This causes irritation and inflammation of the lining of the esophagus. Heartburn is a very common condition. Many people experience it every day. Acid reflux can affect anyone, regardless of age.

Acid Reflux Causes

Acid reflux can be caused by a variety of factors. Acid reflux can be caused by:

  • Acid reflux can be caused by certain diseases or conditions, such as scleroderma. (Weakening of the esophageal muscle) and pregnancy.
  • Acid reflux can also occur in people with Hiatus Hernia, esophageal tighture or .
  • Other factors include pulmonary fibrosis and asthma

Diagnosis Acid Reflux

Doctors can suspect GERD by analyzing the symptoms of a patient and their medical history. Tests can confirm the diagnosis:

  • Barium X-ray
  • Endoscopy
  • Tests ambulatory for acidity (pH).

Acid Reflux Treatment

Conventional treatment

Acid reflux is treated with the following methods:

  • Acid regulators such as Rolaids and Pepto Bismol. These antacids can cause side effects like diarrhea and constipation.
  • You may suggest H2 blockers to prevent the production of acid. They provide temporary relief from symptoms.
  • These drugs work by strengthening sphincter muscles and forcing the stomach to empty faster. These drugs can have many side effects.

Complementary natural care

Ayurveda or homeopathy are complementary systems of medicine that aim to treat the cause of the problem. Acid reflux occurs when the lower-esophageal valve does not work properly, causing stomach acids to regurgitate into the esophagus. Natural therapies can neutralize acid levels, soothe stomach and esophageal walls and improve sphincter function.

Natural ingredients Manjusha, Ficus benghalensis, and Natrum phos have shown tremendous effects in clinical studies on osteoporosis.

Consult one of our doctors at Biogetica.

Tips for Acid Reflux or Gerd

  • Overweight adults are more likely to experience acid reflux. You need to maintain proper digestion and a healthy body weight.
  • Stop smoking and drinking hot drinks. Both can aggravate heartburn, and damage the lower esophageal (LES), which is responsible for the regurgitation into the esophagus of stomach acid.
  • Overeating is not a good idea. Eat small meals frequently. After eating, avoid lying down or sleeping.
  • Stress is a major cause of illness. Reduce stress through meditation or deep breathing. Try engaging in your favorite hobbies, such as reading, playing music, or painting.
  • You can elevate the head of your bed while lying down to avoid acid reflux. While lying on your back, you can elevate the head of your bed to prevent regurgitation.
  • Sleep on your left: the esophagus follows the right side. When you sleep on your right side, the lower esophageal muscle is above the acid level in the stomach. This will prevent stomach contents from leaking back into the esophagus.

Acid Reflux Diet

Diet and nutrition are important factors to consider when it comes acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The most important thing to do is eliminate triggers. Nevertheless, research suggests that eating high-protein, low-fat meals can alleviate symptoms and reduce discomfort.

You can influence the acid production of your stomach by what you eat. Certain foods can cause irritation to the esophagus if they have a tendency to produce acid. Acid reflux symptoms occur when stomach acid moves into the esophagus because of a damaged or weak lower esophageal sphincter. To control symptoms, you can make dietary changes, eliminate foods that trigger them and follow a healthy lifestyle.
You can find the best food to eat for acid reflux.

Recommended foods

  • Vegetables are good for acid reflux. Take small amounts at a given time.
  • Bitter and pungent vegetables include bottle gourds, bitter gourds, sprouts and fenugreek.
  • To improve digestion, it is recommended to cook or steam vegetables instead of eating them uncooked.
  • Oatmeal, ginger, parsley aloe, bananas, melons, fennel. Cauliflower broccoli asparagus green beans celery bulgur wheat semolina wheat rice.
  • Yogurt and probiotics are good for you

Foods to Moderately Consume:

  • Eat nightshades like eggplant, potatoes and tomatoes in moderation. They can clog your microchannels.

Avoid these foods:

  • Avoid cold food, sweets and foods that are difficult to digest as they can cause internal toxins. Avoid citrus fruit juices, and sweet fruits like grapes.
  • Foods that are frozen, left over or preserved because they’re harder to digest than fresh foods
  • Carbonated beverages, caffeine, nicotine and alcohol. Carbonated drinks, which contain carbon dioxide gas, cause people to belch after drinking them.
  • Refined flours, processed, fried and fatty foods, and junk food.
  • Bread, peanuts, mushrooms, aged cheeses and biscuits.
  • Fermented foods, such as vinegar or other products containing fermented ingredients.
  • Spicy foods, raw onions, or other spicy foods can cause heartburn and belching.
  • Chocolate
  • Tomato sauce and other tomato products

Home Remedies to Acid Reflux

  • At least one banana should be ripe every day. Bananas are known to have natural antacid qualities and can help reduce the discomfort caused by acid reflux into the esophagus.
  • Freshly expressed curry leaf juice can be combined with lime to treat nausea, morning sickness and vomiting. Take 1-2 teaspoons twice daily.
  • Take half a cup ginger tea on an empty stomach. Ginger is excellent for nausea, acid reflux, and digestion issues. For maximum benefit, simmer a few slices of ginger in water for 30 minutes. Drink it on an empty stomach or just before eating.
  • Another home remedy to balance acidity in the stomach is chamomile tea. Half a cup of tea with chamomile 30 minutes before bedtime is recommended. Method: Boiling a cup water with chamomile petal, then heating for 30 minutes until the water is reduced to half. Strain the water, add honey or lemon to it and drink.
  • Licorice can be taken as a tea, tincture or supplement. Licorice has been known to naturally soothe stomach acids.
  • Low carbs are best: Eating a lot undigested carbohydrates can make you gassy and bloated. A low-carbohydrate diet can help to reduce reflux symptoms.

Homeopathic remedies, Ayurvedic herbal formulas, and dietary supplementation are all part of holistic acid reflux treatment. With the help of these natural remedies, along with a healthier lifestyle and diet, acid reflux can be treated in all its forms. Biogetica uses all of these natural remedies in order to treat the condition holistically and at its core, ensuring that it has a lasting effect. Our products are based on Ayurveda, Homeopathy and modern research. If you want to know natural, safe and effective natural remedies for acid reflux or consult a doctor for free, please click on the link https://www.biogetica.com/how-to-find-natural-gerd-medicines-treatments-cures#acid-reflux-treatment

Herpes Treatment: An Ayurvedic Approach

The World will face a pandemic of Covid-19 in 2020. As a result, other medical issues, such as herpes have been sidetracked.

What is Herpes

Herpes is an infection caused by a virus. It has two types, HSV1 and HSV2. These variants cause HSV infection. Herpes is mostly a sexually-transmitted viral infection. However, it can be passed from a mother infected to her child during pregnancy. Herpes, after the common cold, is the second-most common viral infection. Both men and women are affected. This is an extremely contagious disease that can be spread through direct contact with lesions and sores, even if you don’t have any. This infection can also increase the risk of contracting HIV and other infections. We want to let you know that Herpes infection is not something anyone should ignore, regardless of whether symptoms are present or not.

Ayurvedic View on Herpes

Ayurvedic medicine also calls herpes parisarpa, or visarpa. Ayurveda says that our body is made up of three energies, or doshas. These are vata pitta and Kapha. These energies are the reason for a person’s good health. Even a slight imbalance in any of these energies can cause health problems. All three energies (or doshas) and seven dhatus in the body are vitiated by Herpes. The vitiation of energies can be caused by a variety of factors, such as poor diet and lifestyle, lack or exercise, prolonged use of certain medicines, etc. These vitiated energies can be classified as vataja (bad habits), pittaja (bad lifestyle), kaphaja (bad eating habits), agni Visarpa (bad energy), tridoshaja(bad energy), granthi Visarpa or kardama Visarpa. The symptoms are based on the affected doshas and dhatus.

Herpes Symptoms and Signs

Herpes can be present for many years without causing any symptoms. Few people can show the following symptoms:

  • Herpes oral is caused primarily by HSV1. Oral herpes is characterized by the following symptoms:i) Blisters filled with red fluid on the lips, tongue, and mouth
    iii) Pain that is excruciating
    iii) Tingling
    iv. Pain and difficulty swallowing
    Fever
    vii) Difficulty eating
  • Genital Herpes is mainly caused by HSV2. The following symptoms are present:i) Fluid-filled red blisters in the genital region. These blisters break open and form sores
If the blisters are in the anal area, you may experience pain while passing stool.
    Headache
    Fever
    v) Urination that is painful
    Vi) Body pain

Signs & Symptoms Related to Ayurvedic Belief of Doshas

  • Vataja – The vitiation of vata is the cause of vataja. This condition is marked by burning eyes, fevers, pains, giddiness and a loss of appetite.
  • Pittaja – This is caused by the vitiation or pitta. The red lesions are rapidly spreading, and there is fever.
  • Kaphaja – This is caused by the vitiation or kapha. It is characterized with stiffness, heavyness and fever.
  • Agni Visarpa – Agni Visarpa is caused by vitiation of pitta and vata. This condition is characterized by nausea, dizziness and vomiting. It can also cause a loss of appetite.
  • Granthi visarpa – This is caused by the vitiation in vata and Kapha. It can be difficult to treat and lead to glandular enlargements with suppuration.
  • Kardama Visarpa – This is a yellow-colored disease that usually affects stomach. It spreads slowly.
  • Tridoshaja – This is due to the vitiation in all three doshas. This type of Herpes is not curable and spreads quickly.

Diagnosis of Herpes

You can diagnose the condition by:

  • Examining the affected area
  • Herpes DNA test
  • Tests to detect IgG and IgM antibodies in your body

What is the treatment for Herpes

Herpes: Conventional Treatment

Antivirals are the mainstay of conventional treatment for herpes. These antiviral medications fail miserably. The virus remains dormant in the blood-brain barriers, where neither the immune system nor antiviral medicines can reach. Antiviral drugs have no effect because the virus mutates into strains resistant to or immune from antiviral medications. These antivirals also have many side effects when taken regularly. They are therefore only recommended if you have an infection. Antivirals suppress the virus for a short time, but then it resurfaces after a period of time, and you have to take them again. This never-ending cycle continues. It is not a cure, as the virus can relapse at any time.

Alternatives to Herpes

Complementary natural health care can include Ayurveda and Homeopathy as well as nutritional supplements. These are all ways to live a healthier life without any side effects. Clinical studies have shown that natural ingredients such as hypericum vulgaris, Monolaurin and Picrorhiza Kurroa, among others, can boost the immune system of Herpes sufferers.

Ayurvedic Principle for Treating Herpes

Ayurvedic science believes that a herpes outbreak is caused by vitiated Vata and pitta doshas as well as impure blood. Ayurvedic medicine has two ways to treat herpes:

  1. Herbs and dietary changes can be used to balance doshas. Herbs and dietary changes can help balance Vata and Pitta. This will rejuvenate tissues and cleanse the body. Know more on the Ayurvedic diet for Herpes at Biogetica.
  2. Ayurvedic medicine believes that herpes does not affect just a portion of the body, but also the whole body. Once the doshas have been balanced, it is important to rejuvenate the body using Rasayanas. Rejuvenation can boost the immune system and help fight recurring attacks of disease.

We will explore the latest research on natural formulations.

Ayurvedic herbs, a healthy lifestyle, dietary changes, and homeopathy are all effective in treating herpes. Biogetica uses Homeopathy, Ayurvedic Herbs, and Dietary Supplements to treat the condition as a whole, from its roots. Biogetica’s supplements are based on Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and modern research. If you are looking for a safe, natural, and effective solution for Herpes without any known side effects, please contact one of our doctors at Biogetica.

Managing Herpes Blisters: A Comprehensive Guide

Herpes is a viral infection. It is a sexually transmitted virus that can also be transmitted from mother to child. There is no known “cure” for herpes that can help prevent symptoms from returning. However, there are certain necessary lifestyle changes that you can incorporate in your day-to-day life that can help you possess a stronger immune system to deal better with the condition.

Let us go through things that you must know about herpes.

How is Herpes Transmitted

HSV-1 is primarily transmitted by oral-to-oral contact to cause oral herpes infection, via contact with the HSV-1 virus in saliva, sores, and surfaces within or around the mouth. However, HSV-1 can also be transmitted to the genital area through oral-genital contact which may lead to genital herpes. It can also be spread from oral to skin surfaces. Herpes can be transmitted even when there are no symptoms present. However, the risk of transmission is higher when there are active sores.

HSV-2 is mainly transmitted sexually. It is transmitted through contact with body fluids, genital surfaces, skin, or skin lesions. HSV-2 can also be spread from the skin of the genital area or anal area even during the absence of any visible symptoms. It can rarely also be transmitted from mother to her child during delivery to cause neonatal herpes. Having oral sex without protection or a condom with a person who has cold sores or even if there are no symptoms. Transmission is also possible by sharing sex toys that are not washed.

How does Herpes affect your sexual life

Due to the stigma attached to herpes, not all people are quick to tell others about their diagnosis. The guilt and embarrassment may compel some to hide their diagnosis even from their partners or family or avoid searching for proper treatment or getting tested or screened regularly. Please trust us, this will simply make the issue worse and more complicated both physically and emotionally. Thus, we suggest you communicate about this with your partner, as family support would add up to your recovery immensely. Be frank, open, communicative, and positive and please let go of the need to be “right” is powerful. Maybe your partner may take some time to evaluate the situation and perceive what this means for your future together. Give your partner and yourself an optimistic opportunity to sort out things, have patience, and express how important your partner is to you. If required, you can get your partner screened as well. Embracing the actuality will also help in the right way.

How do you avoid getting or passing on genital herpes

  • Avoid sex if either you or your partner has an outbreak. It is better to wait until the symptoms have cleared up before having sex again. However, it is also important to understand that it can spread even if a person doesn’t have any symptoms.
  • Use male or female condoms or dental dams every time you practice vaginal, oral, or anal sex.
  • Cover sex toys with a condom and wash them after every use.
  • Discuss your sexual health with your partner. It is necessary to know each other’s sexual health status can help you decide together how to practice safe sex.
  • Having multiple sexual partners can also increase your risk of contracting genital herpes. If you are having sex with multiple partners, it’s even more important to use condoms and have regular screening tests done.

Diet Recommendations for Herpes

Eat more of the following:

  • Eat more fresh vegetables: Beans, asparagus, beetroot, bottle gourd, amaranth, cucumber, cabbage, bitter gourd, carrot, drumsticks, radish, turnip, and yellow melon.
  • Use Ginger, turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander/coriander seeds, Himalayan or pink salt, fennel seeds, and cardamom in your day-to-day food.

Please follow the below tips:

  • Wash the sores gently with soap and water and then pat dry.
  • Do not bandage the sores as air accelerates their healing.
  • Do not pick at the sores as they can get infected and slow the healing.
  • Wear loose-fitting cotton clothes
  • Avoid wearing nylon or other synthetic underwear or clothes.
  • Also, do not wear tight-fitting pants.

How to Reduce Stress Naturally

Stress is a major reason to lower the immune system and attract most of health issues including Herpes. Start with meditation to reduce stress today. You may even engage yourself in any hobbies such as playing games, reading, painting, sewing, cooking, listening to music, playing a musical instrument, etc. The whole idea is to divert your mind from the worries or stress of day-to-day life. You may also practice yoga or deep breathing in your daily routine. As they will not only reduce stress but also calm your mind and improve lung functioning.

What is the treatment for Herpes

Conventional Treatment for Herpes

Conventional treatment for herpes consists of antiviral drugs. However, the effort of antiviral drugs fails, and the virus lies dormant behind the blood-brain barrier which the immunity and antiviral drugs cannot reach. The virus also mutates itself into strains that are resistant to antiviral, thus they have no effect on the antivirals. Moreover, these antivirals have a host of side effects when taken for a long, so they are suggested only when you have an outbreak. So, when you have the outbreak to take antivirals and the virus gets suppressed for a temporary period of time, again the virus flares up after an interval, and again you need to take antiviral, and this vicious cycle continues. But still, it is not a permanent cure as it may relapse even if a virus escapes the treatment.
