What Causes Chlamydia

Chlamydia, also known as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), is caused by Chlamydia bacteria. Chlamydia can be asymptomatic, or it may show symptoms such as genital swelling and discharge, pelvic discomfort, and fever. Chlamydiasis that is not treated can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) or Infertility.

Chlamydia can have long-term complications if not treated early. There is no food that can stop Chlamydia but certain food restrictions may help to fight the infection.

We provide the necessary food recommendations for Chlamydia.

Recommended Foods

• Include more green leafy veggies like spinach, fresh prepared wheat grass or barley grass.
• It is beneficial to increase the intake of alkaline foods.
• Consume foods rich in fiber, such as beans, whole grains, nuts, and seeds.

Foods to Moderately Consume

Reduce the number of acidic foods you consume, such as red meat, fish, poultry, and dairy products with full-fat, cheese, butter, and ghee.

Avoid these Foods
