Nocturnal Enuresis or bed-wetting is a condition that is characterized by involuntary passing of urine at night, during sleep. This condition is more commonly seen in young children of about 5 years. Bed-wetting can become a cause of embarrassment for both children and their parents.   • Primary Nocturnal Enuresis: This is termed so, when the child has never developed complete night-time bladder control.

Causes of Bed Wetting

The exact cause of nocturnal enuresis is not known. Some factors that have been identified to increase the risk are:
