Eczema, a chronic skin condition, is characterized by skin peeling and itching. It could be caused by anything from an autoimmune disorder to an allergy. The condition usually begins with a small dry patch on the skin, and if left untreated can spread to other areas of the body.
During winter, the condition is worse due to the lack of moisture caused by dry weather conditions.
