What does the Hemidesmus Indicus resemble

Hemidesmus is a perennial vine that trails along the ground and climbs using tendrils that grow in pairs on the petioles from alternate, orbicular, to ovate evergreen leaves. The tuberous rootstock can reach up to three meters. The flower has 5 petals that are purple on the inside and green on the outside. The stem and branches are laticiferous and elongated. They are narrow and there. Their color is deep purple or brown. The roots have a camphor-like smell and are woody. The plant is known as Kapoori. The plant is found on the slopes of sub-ravines, and twines on trees and shrubs.
