What is Toothache?

Toothache is a condition characterized by pain in and around the teeth, which most commonly occurs due to irritation of the nerve of the tooth. The irritation may occur due to tooth-decay (dental cavity) or an infection of the root of the tooth as a result of poor hygiene.
