Many people have white patches of skin that are depigmented.
We have always wondered what the cause could be, but we’ve never asked out of fear that it would embarrass the person who is affected.
It is caused by a disorder of the skin pigment. This is caused by a disorder in the pigment of the skin. 
The pigment in the skin is formed by cells called melanocytes.
The immune system of the individual destroys melanocytes in vitiligo. This condition is most common in areas of the skin that are exposed to sunlight, such as hands, feet, arms, lips, and faces. These patches are more noticeable in darker people.
You can use topical steroids, UV-light therapy, or skin bleaching. All of these treatments are harmful and can have side effects.
Some people suggest using traditional medicine to treat Vitiligo.
