HPV infections are as common in men as they are in women. Epidemiological studies show that HPV can cause cancer.
It’s estimated that 79 million Americans are infected by HPV. Half of these new infections occur in those under 24 years old. Health authorities report that HPV is responsible for more than 9000 cancer cases in men each year. This infection causes 63% of penile cancers, 91% of anal cancers, and 72% of oropharyngeal carcinomas. Understanding that HPV can affect men equally, as well as the likelihood of it becoming malignant, makes it important
What is HPV
The most common sexually transmitted disease is human papillomavirus. It is a virus that can cause serious health complications, including cancer if it is left in the body.
Biogetica’s specific immunity boost kits contain HP-Factor nosodes (a plant extract), Thuja (a herb extract), Echinacea, and Hyperisince – an Ayurvedic formula containing Hypericum mysorense. These specific kits have been a great success in increasing the body’s defense mechanisms.

Prevalence of HPV Infection in Men
Although HPV is prevalent in both men and women, it drops in prevalence in women as they age to approximately 22 percent. However, this remains high in men. There is still no definitive answer to the observation.
Because most HPV-infected people don’t have symptoms, they are unaware of the risk of spreading the virus to others. The virus can also cause tumors to develop in the respiratory tract called respiratory papillomatosis. Evidence suggests that HPV-infected men may be an indirect cause of cancerous cervical cells in women.
Causes of HPV among men
HPV is spread by oral, vaginal, or anal sex. It can also be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact.
Symptoms of HPV in Men
Genital warts can appear on the penis or anus. They may also occur in the scrotum, the scrotum, the back of the throat, and the scrotum.
Pay attention to changes in the skin of these areas.
Here are some symptoms of HPV that patients should be aware of
- Anal cancer:
- Anal bleeding, pain, or discharge
- Anal swelling
- Changes in bowel movements
- Penile cancer:
- Penis skin changes such as thickening, coloration, or itching
- Penis growths that are painful or not.
- Penis warts that can even bleed
- The cancer of the back of your throat (Oropharyngeal Cancer):
- Chronic Sore Throat
- Coughing
- Trouble swallowing or breathing
- Hoarseness in voice
- Pain in ears
- Growths or lumps on the neck
If you notice any of the symptoms above, consult your doctor for a diagnosis.
Vaccination for HPV
Gardisal, the only vaccine approved to prevent HPV, only covers 6-7 of the 100 strains that cause genital cancer and warts. There have also been reports of 70 deaths as well as a number of side effects.
These protocols are effective for both men and women and can be used even after infection.
Prevention is Better Than Cure
To reduce the risk of infection or getting infected, you can use the following prevention methods:
- Limit the number of sexual partners
- Use condoms to practice safe sexual behavior
- Do not engage in sexual activity with your partner if you have genital warts
Treatment of HPV among men
HPV is not treatable. The symptoms of the virus can be treated in a conventional way. Your doctor will prescribe topical or oral medications if you have genital squamous cell carcinoma. Multiple warts may require the doctor to burn them.
Cancers of the anal, penile, or throat are treated by a combination of surgery, chemo, and radiation therapy.
Alternative treatments such as advanced nutraceuticals and standardized herbal extracts, along with Bio-energetic Homeopathic ingredients are used in traditional medicine to boost the immune system’s strength.
Ayurveda and TCM, as well as Homeopathy, have a rich history that is supported by modern science. They can boost immunity and improve the resilience of the body through specific ingredients, such as Hypericum mysorense or HPV nodes.
Our kit contains the following ingredients.
Ayurvedic herb: A mixture of herbal extracts believed to boost immunity.
Attenuations homeopathic: Potentized formulations that are traditionally believed to support normal structure and function in gonad and skin cells.
Nutritional Supplements: Supplements that provide essential nutrients to help improve the energy and nutritional state of the human body, and possibly boost immunity.
Some Key Ingredient Highlights
- Hypericum mysorense
Studies have suggested that hypericum species may directly interfere with the replication of viral cells, blocking their release leading to their inhibition, and boosting the immune system. 1, 2
- Green Tea Extract
Studies indicate that extracts from green tea leaves exhibit anti-oxidant, anti-viral, and anti-tumor properties. Results of three randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies reported that the extract showed a significantly higher likelihood of complete clearance of warts caused by HPV. 3
- Monolaurin
Monolaurin is a derivative of Lauric acid and research on monolaurin has indicated that Monolaurin prevents viral replication by dissolving viral envelopes, which makes the infective agent more vulnerable to the immune system. 4
- Phyllantus emblica
This herb is widely used in traditional medicines for its versatile properties. An in vitro study to determine the efficacy of the herb on HPV cancer cells reported that Phyllantus emblica inhibited transcription of viral oncogenes responsible for the development and progression of cervical cancer thus indicating its possible utility for the treatment of HPV-induced cancers. 5
