Types of Fractures

1) Simple Fracture: A simple fracture occurs along one line, and splits the bone into 2 pieces. A simple closed fracture is easy to treat, and has a good prognosis

Causes

Trauma is the cause of fracture in 90% of cases. Even minor trauma like falling on the ground, could cause cracks or fractures.

Signs and Symptoms

Severe unbearable pain is the classic symptom of an underlying fracture. The pain is aggravated when pressure is applied to the affected portion. Any movement of the affected part also causes pain.
